Sir Jonathan Reeve, born in Bristol in 1970, is a renowned British surgeon specializing in liver transplantation. After completing his medical training at King’s College London, he joined the pioneering transplant unit at the Royal Free Hospital, where he became known for his meticulous technique and calm leadership in high-pressure surgeries. Over three decades, he performed more than a thousand liver transplants, contributing to several advances in organ preservation and surgical safety. Outside the operating theatre, he mentors young surgeons and advocates for organ donation awareness across the UK. 2025 he was made a Knight Bachelor by King Charles III.
